In Las Vegas there were no wheelchairs at the gate; people who wanted a wheelchair had to wait, or do without. (Most passengers didn't wait. Air travel is painful.)
The flight landed in Vegas around lunchtime; passengers who boarded in Oakland were not allowed to deplane. Instead, the airline loaded extra snack packs and offered passengers who hadn't brought their lunches multiple snack packs, with peanut-butter sandwich crackers, cookies, and dried fruit. Oh, well. I suppose they could have offered us MREs.
Hmmmmm...must be tough LUV.
